How Do I Meet People?
Cedar Hills Baptist Church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for family members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at Cedar Hills.
Small Group
Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, Cedar Hills has bible studies held on Sunday mornings during our bible study hour (9:15 to 10:15 a.m.). During the year we offer other small group opportunities i.e. Ladies bible studies, Men’s studies, as well as other age graded groups.
Children & Youth Ministry
Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own age appropriate classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers is trained in children’s instruction. The youth ministry of Cedar Hills Baptist is recognized for their close interaction.
Women’s Group
Cedar Hills Women’s Groups gives the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Our women’s groups, meet for Bible study, prayer (and, of course, food). These groups provide a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in the church. We have a “Ladies Night Out” once every 8 to 10 weeks ( please check our calendar tab for activities) or so at a local restaurant or fun spot – ALL ARE INVITED!
Men’s Ministry
The Men’s Ministry of Cedar Hills Baptist meet several times a year for activities that would interest the men in our congregation and community. Stay tuned for the next scheduled event.
Over 60’s
Once you get past sixty, the fun has just begin. Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, the over-60 group of Cedar Hills provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable interaction. Our group meets each Tuesday morning at the local Country Cabin for breakfast together.
